Myers’ Cocktail

A blend of vitamins and minerals whose ingredients contribute to energy metabolism, muscle function and the normal functioning of the nervous and immune systems.

Folate Active (Vitamin B9)

Folate (Vitamin B9) plays an important role in several essential functions of the body, including:

• Red Blood Cell Formation: Supports the normal production of healthy red blood cells.
• Reduction of Tiredness and Weakness: Helps reduce tiredness and weakness associated with folate deficiency.
• Healthy Cell Function: Supports DNA synthesis, normal cell division and healthy cell function.
• Immune System Support: Contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
• Pregnancy and Fertility Support: Folate is particularly important when planning a pregnancy and during early pregnancy, supporting normal maternal tissue growth and the development of the baby’s brain and spinal cord.
• Folate Deficiency Support: Helps replenish low folate levels associated with dietary deficiencies, malabsorption or increased folate requirements.

Folate Active contains: Calcium L-Methyltetrahydrofolate (Vitamin B9) 1 mg/ml, Glycerin, Ascorbic Acid.

Glutathione

A naturally occurring antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It participates in the neutralisation of harmful substances and supports cellular defence mechanisms. It also plays a role in processes regulating the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour.

Vitamin C

Supports normal immune function and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It is essential for collagen production, which is important for the skin’s structure and strength and for normal wound healing. It also contributes to healthy gums, bones, cartilage and blood vessels, and increases iron absorption from plant-based foods.

Vitamin B Complex

B vitamins help convert nutrients into energy and support normal nervous system function. Individual vitamins within this group also play a role in maintaining healthy skin and normal cellular processes.

• Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin-5-Phosphate), 5 mg

L-Carnitine

A naturally occurring compound involved in fat metabolism and energy production. It transports fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are used as fuel for cells. This process is particularly important for tissues with high energy demands, such as the muscles and heart.

L-Taurine

Contributes to fluid and electrolyte balance within cells and the normal functioning of the heart, muscles and nervous system. It is involved in regulating calcium within cells, forming bile salts needed for fat digestion and supporting cellular protection against oxidative stress.

Zinc

Supports normal immune function and helps maintain healthy skin, hair and nails. It contributes to wound healing, DNA and protein synthesis, and cell division. It also plays a role in normal taste and smell and nutrient metabolism.
