Folate Drip £175

Low folate levels are more common than people think. You might just feel tired, weak, a bit foggy, or struggle to focus properly. Diet, stress, alcohol, and certain health conditions can quietly reduce your folate levels over time. The Folate IV Drip delivers the active form of folate directly into your bloodstream for fast absorption. Using 5-MTHF, it supports red blood cell production, DNA synthesis, and healthy cell growth.

Drip duration: 45 minutes, aftercare 15 to 30 minutes

Why people choose this drip

  • Supports energy levels and reduces fatigue
  • Helps improve focus and mental clarity
  • Supports red blood cell formation
  • Helps regulate homocysteine levels

Administered intravenously as a 250ml drip.

The Folate Drip is suitable for individuals who are experiencing symptoms of folate deficiency, such as fatigue, weakness, or difficulty concentrating. It is particularly beneficial for those with dietary deficiencies, malabsorption conditions, or increased folate requirements, such as during pregnancy or for vegans.

It is especially important for individuals with chronic alcohol use, pregnant women, and those with megaloblastic anaemia. Folate deficiency should ideally be treated alongside vitamin B12 supplementation to help prevent neurological damage.

The active form of folate, 5-MTHF, plays a key role in reducing homocysteine levels, supporting DNA synthesis, red blood cell formation, and healthy cell growth. It is also involved in preventing neural tube defects during pregnancy and may contribute to cellular protection mechanisms.

IV drip therapy is commonly used in clinical practice to deliver folic acid to individuals who have difficulty absorbing it through oral supplementation, ensuring more direct and effective absorption.
